In this workshop you’ll use Draw-The-Line scenarios to explore LGBTQ School Safety, Trans Student Safety. Join Alyx Duffy, Youth Program Coordination and Facilitator with Egale Canada Human Rights Trust, for a discussion on gender identity and gender expression, the impacts of gender norms in society, how to recognize gender-based and transphobic violence, and how you can intervene safely and act as an ally.

Webinar - Drawing the Line on Sexual Violence in Ontario

This webinar, developed in partnership with Ophea and the Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres (OCRCC), is designed for grades 7-12 educators to discuss the use of education for sexual violence prevention. The session will make connections to the Health and Physical Education curricula and provide planning and teaching considerations to support teachers in initiating and continuing conversations in a safe and supportive environment for all learners.
